1) Why is your company exhibiting at GITEX Technology Week?

• Being one of the top three IT exhibitions in the world, GITEX is the ideal platform to exhibit and promote our products in the Middle East market. It helps us to create the brand awareness and it also helps us to meet with our existing and potential partners. People come from different parts of the Middle East & Africa for GITEX. They see GITEX as a platform to know more about new products and trends in the IT market. We see this as an opportunity to interact more with our potential clients and partners. It is the major event that we participate in our events calendar.

2) What products or services will your company be promoting at the show?

• We will promote ESET Smart Security & ESET NOD32 Antivirus during this GITEX. We will also be launching ESET approved gateway appliance during this GITEX. This new product will help organizations protect their network from attacks on the gateway level. ESET NOD32 Antivirus is well known for its proactive protection with good scanning speed. It is also very light on the machine making it an ideal choice for heavy users and gamers. ESET Smart Security is an integrated solution that comes with Antivirus, Antispyware, Antispam & Personal Firewall. It provides comprehensive protection to users against all forms of attacks and hackers. This product also features a least-resource hungry antivirus engine with advanced firewall capabilities and anti-spam filter that gets integrated to users email client.

We wil be present at B7-25, Hall No.7 for GITEX 2008.

3) What does your company hope to achieve by appearing at GITEX Technology Week?

• We want to position ESET NOD32 as the ideal security product for SME & Enterprise segment as it is the lightest and fastest solution available. ESET NOD32 & ESET Smart Security are products that is ideal for people who are looking for proactive security solution without compromising their system performance. ESET NOD32 is consistently doing well in all the independent tests conducted worldwide. We want to increase the awareness of our brand in Middle East.

We also want to add more partners to our existing network so that we can offer better support and service to end users. We hope to have all our existing partners visiting us during GITEX. Our main focus will be on adding more partners to our network and generating business leads.

4) How important is GITEX Technology Week to your company’s success in the Middle East?

• GITEX being one of the largest IT events in the world is very important for us. We participate in GITEX to promote our products so that we can get more partners and clients. We hope to generate good number of sales leads during GITEX. Today GITEX is the most important event in the Middle East IT industry due to the sheer size of audience and participants that it has. It has also become a platform for organizations to launch new technologies and products as people from all over Middle East watch GITEX very carefully. Along the excellent media coverage for the event ensures that people get more information about GITEX.

5) How important is the Middle East market to your operations worldwide?

• Middle East is a very important market today as IT spending is growing at very fast rate and Dubai is the IT hub for the entire Middle East & African countries. The IT market in Middle East is growing at a very fast pace and it will continue to grow in the coming years. Moreover many Middle East & African countries are investing heavily on IT security that will keep up the momentum of IT spending in this market. Middle East is the fastest growing market for us.
