- 32-bit version for MS Exchange 5.5, 2000 & 2003
- 64-bit version for MS Exchange 2007

Improved Architecture
Enables the use of an external scanning engine (in addition to ESET’s acclaimed ThreatSense® engine) running inside the ESET Control Center, independently of the MS Exchange server. Note that only the 64-bit version can use external engine.

More detailed background scanning configuration
The background scan can be configured to run only on messages received in a certain time period. Additionally the product may be configured to scan only messages with attachments.

Rules based on mailbox name
Rules can be now executed based on the name of mailbox.

Performance monitor
Log file can now include performance information, which can be used by the administrator to optimize configuration settings.
